Adoption Exchange Days

Exchange Days are events where adoption agencies can profile their children and adopters. You can have a stand at the event or you can attend as a practitioner to support your adopters.

Since our service launched in April 2019, we have received very positive feedback from practitioners and adopters about our Exchange Day events.

They are a successful method of finding families for children waiting to be adopted.

  • Thursday 23rd May – West Midlands – Cancelled
  • Friday 19th July – London


To book a stand at a National or Targeted Exchange Day event

  • £300 (+VAT) per stand
  • £250 (+VAT) if your agency has purchased the Be My Family Matching & Recruitment offer
  • For agencies requiring more than one stand there will be a charge of £50 (+VAT) after the initial cost per extra stand

Be My Family Exchange Days are free for adopters and their supporting social workers to attend.

Commissioned Exchange Day

Be My Family also offer a commissioned Exchange Day. For a cost of £4,000 (not including venue costs), we can host an Exchange Day on behalf of your agency. Be My Family has the experience and expertise to provide you with specific Exchange Days, adaptable to meet the needs of your agency. Your agency can choose what the focus of the Exchange Day needs to be.

The offer includes managing the recruitment and attendance of adopters for the event, where the agency featured the children they have waiting to find permanent families. You would be able to choose whether an Exchange Day was open to all adopters that meet the specified criteria or whether you limit access to the Exchange Day to local adopters.
